About

We build the kind of restaurant people come back to.

Stamgæst is Danish for the regular. The guest who keeps coming back. That word holds everything we believe about hospitality: loyalty, relationships, and the long view.

Our story

A northern European idea of hospitality, brought to Barcelona.

stamgæst was founded by Martin and Joseph. One Danish, one Dutch, both shaped by a tradition where hospitality is craft, and the regular at the bar is the highest compliment a place can earn.

We started this because we kept seeing the same story in Barcelona. Great restaurants, with real food and real people, losing margin to platforms like TheFork, paying to rent guests they never got to keep. The relationship belonged to someone else.

So we built a different kind of partner. Not a tech platform. Not a marketplace. Not a consultancy that hands over a deck and leaves. A hands-on growth partner who works alongside owners on the three things that actually move a restaurant: more covers, higher spend per visit, and guests who come back.

How we think

Three beliefs that shape every engagement.

01

Regulars are built, not bought.

Discount platforms rent you a transaction. A stamgæst is earned through every detail: the welcome, the wine, the way you remember their name.

02

Great hospitality is a system, not a personality.

The best restaurants don't depend on one charismatic owner. They run on training, process, and standards that hold whether you're in the room or not.

03

Growth that doesn't last isn't growth.

A full Friday from a flash promo is a vanity metric. We measure success in returning guests and margin you actually keep.
